Thursday’s peace accord which saw presidential candidates sign a code of conduct for peaceful elections ended on a lovely note.
Former president, Jerry John Rawlings, seems to have had a special agenda for attending the Accra Peace Accord as he was seen gracing his wife, Konadu Rawlings (presidential candidate of National Democratic Party) with a red rose.
The Accra Peace Accord, which saw presidential candidates of all the political parties at the Movempick Ambassadors HOTEL, sign a code of conduct for peace before during and after the December 7 elections has been adorned with fierce and historic statements by the presidential candidates.
The Accord will be remembered as the one of the hallmarks to Ghana’s deepening democracy ahead of the December 7 elections.
