BUSINESS AREA: Sanofi Genzyme (Specialty Care)

Inform healthcare professionals and build a relationship with them to promote Sanofi Genzyme products, in line with the Promotional Information Charter, pharmaceutical regulations, ethical approach, regulatory framework and company procedures


  • Inform and develop a high value relations healthcare professionals on Sanofi Genzyme products and services
  • Encourage healthcare professionals to prescribe Sanofi Genzyme products, using a communication compliant with the image of the company
  • Develop a client portfolio: elaborate and conduct a sector action plan aligned with national and regional objectives; organize visits, manage client information, monitor performance
  • Continuously develop his/her scientific and environmental expertise in order to develop a high value added relationship with healthcare professionals and contribute to a better patient care
  • Enhance Sanofi Genzyme brand image: coordinate communication to professionals, develop relationships with opinion leaders and leverage institutional communication
  • Get integrated in a regional team; convey a positive, dynamic image of the company


  • Qualified as required by country regulation
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience within therapeutic area market with launch experience preferred; on territory knowledge of healthcare professionals within the therapeutic area
  • Expertise in disease area and Immunology (Rheumatology or Atopic Dermatitis or Asthma) is not required by would be an advantage
  • Proven business acumen, driven by clear insight & understanding of the market dynamics with the ability to achieve success by applying high level selling skills
  • Knowledge and experience of successfully working within the Healthcare environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the systems and processes and resources available internally and bring in the right expertise at the right time to drive business success locally
  • Ability to contribute to the development and execution of shared business plans.
  • Team player with the ability to work in matrix situations in a changing environment – also able to work independently with full accountability for results and actions
  • Excellent, demonstrable communication skills that build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to analyse complex internal and external data
  • Effectively use sophisticated IT systems
  • Ability to share knowledge internally across a matrix structure, to optimise all opportunities
